ABOUT ME
I grew up in the competitive dance world beginning in Southern California and taking me to Las Vegas, Nevada. After a high school production of 42nd Street as Peggy Sawyer, I was hooked, and broadened my horizons into acting and vocal performance. I have since developed skills in choreography and direction; working on Texas the Musical Choreography and assisting Brad Frenette in Texas Tech's Fly by Night. I placed first in the NATS MT Vocal Competition as well as received honors in acting from the Kennedy Center for my work in Xanadu. More recently, you can also find me in multiple print campaigns from Malouf's to LA's Set Active and on the runway for Dillards and Julian Gold. I truly love all aspects of the arts, and find the best version of myself while creating, both on and offstage.
XOXO,
SAV

EDUCATION & OUTREACH
As much as I love performing, I feel particularly connected to implementing accessible theatre in my community. Check out some of my favorite organizations I've worked with! For an education and choreography resume, reach out via email!
Ballet Lubbock's pre-professional program offers training in technique, expression, and performance for ages 3 to adult. They are most well known for their famous Nutcracker Ballet, featuring the Ballet Lubbock school and guest artists from companies like Ballet Hispánico.
Dance Connect is a Ballet Lubbock program that teaches the foundations of dance in our LISD public school system. Teachers are sent to schools free of charge to implement technique and expression to any participating dancer.
AllSaints is a college-prepatory academy for middle and highschool students. Their young dance/pom team has made multiple appearences at the TAPPS dance championship and most recently placd fourth overall in the state.
Horizon is the youth prepatory program ran under Lubbock's Wallace Theatre. These students learn shows from the ground up, tackling a new theatrical component with each performance. We also college counsel, voice train, and offer specialized dance skills training to prep high school students for college audition season.
Moonlight offers dynamic summer seasons in one of Texas's larger outdoor theatres. They have a heart for our local community and provide training in youth and young adult programs.
A Time to Dance is a Las Vegas studio I co-founded in 2017. The studio was created as a way to offer dance technique and performance oppurtunities, without the toxic mind and body harming curriculum that can sometimes develop in competition studios.
See a bit of who I am in the classroom and my process for choreography.
